The terms for using Reko
Effective 1 October 2026 · Last updated 26 October 2026
The short version
- Reko is a record, not medical advice. It writes down what you decide to take. Every number it shows depends on what you typed in.
- Check every dose and every calculation yourself, against your prescription or your supplier's label, before you inject anything.
- Reko is a subscription through Apple: 2 weeks free, then $39.99 a year or $9.99 a month in the US, or the local price shown in the app. It renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple account.
- Your record belongs to you.
- If you're a consumer, nothing here takes away the rights the law in your country gives you.

How we handle your information is covered separately in our privacy policy and our consumer health data policy.
Reko is not medical advice, and not a medical device
Reko records what you decide. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for whoever prescribed or supplied what you take.
Reko is a personal logbook and a calculator. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any disease, to recommend a dose, or to replace a doctor, nurse or pharmacist. It is not a medical device, and it has not been evaluated by the FDA, the MHRA, an EU notified body or any other regulator. In particular:
- Doses and calculations. The dose calculator, syringe units, vial mixing (reconstitution) figures, pen clicks and the amount left in a vial all come from numbers you enter. A wrong number in gives a wrong number out. A milligram is 1000 micrograms, and a mix-up between them is a thousandfold error. Check every result against your prescription, the product label or a pharmacist before you inject.
- The level chart. The estimated amount of medication in your body is a model based on published averages. It is not a measurement of you, and must not be used to decide when or how much to take.
- Compound information. Approval status, half-lives and other facts about a compound come from public sources, can change, and may be out of date or wrong. Check them with a professional or the regulator where you live.
- Reminders. Reminders depend on your phone's settings and can fail to appear. Don't rely on them as your only way to remember a dose.
- Lab results. Results scanned from a photo can be misread. Check every value before you save it. Reko doesn't interpret results.
