The short version

Who we are

Reko is an app for recording GLP-1 medication and peptide doses, and the things that go with them: weight, side effects, food, sleep, training and lab results.

Reko is run by Digital Utopia SRL, Bulevardul Ferdinand I 118, Et. 3, Ap. 302, 021395 Bucharest, Romania, registered in the Romanian Trade Register under no. J40/5693/2017 (EUID ROONRC.J40/5693/2017), fiscal code (CUI) 37431088. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that company. For data protection law we are the “controller” of anything described here as stored on our servers.

You can write to us about anything on this page at [email protected]. That address reaches the person responsible for privacy at Reko, who is also our privacy officer for the purposes of Canadian and Quebec law. We have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer, because the law does not require one for an organisation of our size and kind.

[UK representative under Article 27 UK GDPR, if Reko has no UK establishment: name and address]

What we handle, and where it lives

Most of what you put into Reko never reaches us at all. This table shows where each kind of information goes.

Much of this is health information, which the law treats with extra care. We treat it the same way. Everything we hold comes from you, or from your phone when you use the app. We don’t buy information about you or receive it from anyone else.

You never have to give us anything. Without sync, we hold nothing about you except an anonymous subscription status. If you don’t want to give an email address, don’t turn sync on: the whole app still works.
